WELCOME to The Senses Bureau -- where we educate and celebrate our senses (of smell, taste, touch, seeing, hearing, wonder and humor...for starters) singly and in concert.
We would like to thank ALL OF YOU -- including the U.S. Census Bureau for making this our best year yet!
It's true that The Senses Bureau was already experiencing huge learning, fun and success in our own inner-circle -- enabling thousands of people, products and companies to more fully educate and engage their senses through food, wine, fragrance, farming, travel, consumer and trade events and more.
It's true that our following was growing in size, depth, shape, structure and stature...in ways as vibrantly wonder-filled as they are commercially viable.
But we could not have imagined what would happen when the U.S. Census got underway!
As Census appeals hit the streets, mailboxes, printed pages, moving images and airwaves of America, significant numbers hearts, minds and eyeballs came here.
Yes! Countless first found us because they were searching for jobs, maps and data and could not spell "census" correctly.
We pointed them all the right places...and were heartened by how many stayed on, returned, and in the process came to better appreciate their own senses of curiosity, humor, place and play.
